A new 1000km circular route, with around 9600 metres of climbing.

We learned from the test ride. The clover leaf format provided ample opportunity for one to bail. And that we should pick our seasons carefully, as you don’t want to freeze to death. Rob took the initiative to come up with a new route.

So herewith the proposed route for the official Cape 1000km BRM that we’d like to stage over the long weekends in April. Proposed start time is early morning on that Wednesday (holiday) 27 April 2016. 75 hours from there would take you to the Saturday morning, leaving you with the rest of the weekend, including the Monday which is also a holiday.

  2. Darling – 100
